How many washing machines do you have?

We have 7 washing machines, and 7 Dryers available for customer use.

We even have a dedicated Pet Washer/Dryer

Do you have seating?

Yes, we have plenty of bar seating. We also have phone chargers for you to use while you wait.

If you don't feel like siting inside, there's a cafe next door for you to relax at, or enjoy a meal while you wait.

Is there parking?

There's plenty of free parking. You can park outside or undercover. The parking is right outside the laundromat.

What times are you open?

Thornlands laundromat is open 7 days a week, including public holidays. The store opens at 6am and closes at 10pm. The doors open and close automatically, so on the dot at 6am they will open for you if you want to make an early start.

Do you have discounts for team sports clubs?

Yes. Just give us a call and we can discuss a discount for your team where muddy and sweaty jerseys need to be cleaned.

Do I need to bring detergent?

You can bring your own detergent or use the vending machine to purchase soap in store. There is enough powder in each packet to do 2 - 3 washes.

Just remember, you add less detergent in commercial machines than you would in a domestic machine.

Can I bring my own detergent?

Yes. Just remember, with commercial washing machines you add a little less than you would in a domestic machine.

Do you have Hot and Cold washes?

Yes. You choose Cold, Warm, Hot depending on your clothes

What if I come in late and the door closes

Don't worry, there is a button to let you out if you wash close to closing time.

What if I leave my clothes in the store after closing

The clothes will be removed from the machine and put on the folding table, so customers the next day can use the machines.
